Terms of Use

Langelic is operated by Stable Technologies Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202330660W), 160 Robinson Road, #14-04 Singapore Business Federation Center, Singapore 068914 ("we", "us", "our"). By using Langelic ("the Service"), you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Upload, process, or distribute content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
• Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service to infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party.
• Use automated means to access the Service in a way that exceeds reasonable use or places undue burden on the infrastructure.

2. Content rights and responsibilities

a. Your warranty

You represent and warrant that, for any content you upload to or process through the Service (including video, audio, subtitles, images, and text), you have the necessary rights to do so — whether as the owner of the content, as a licensee of the owner, or as otherwise permitted by applicable law. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service does not infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party. If you upload content on behalf of another person or entity, you represent that you have obtained the necessary rights from them.

b. Licence to operate the Service

We do not claim ownership of the content you submit. Solely to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Service, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable licence to host, store, copy, transmit, modify, and process that content and its derivatives (including transcriptions, translations, OCR output, and intermediate artefacts). This licence ends when the content is deleted from our systems, except to the extent we are required to retain copies for legal, security, or backup purposes.

c. Removal

We may remove or refuse to process content that we believe, in good faith, is unlawful, infringing, or in breach of these terms.

3. Personal use only

Translations, transcriptions, and other outputs generated by the Service are strictly for your personal use only. You must not distribute, share, publish, sublicense, or make publicly available any content produced by the Service. This includes but is not limited to uploading subtitles to public databases, sharing files with others, or publishing translations online.

4. Accuracy

AI-generated transcriptions, translations, and OCR results are provided on an "as-is" basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any output. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any content generated by the Service before relying on it.

5. Payments and billing

Certain features of the Service require payment. All payments are processed through Stripe. You agree to pay for all charges incurred through your account. Credits are non-refundable except at our sole discretion.

6. Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine to be in violation of these terms or harmful to the Service, other users, or third parties.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Stable Technologies Pte. Ltd., its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability for any claims arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

10. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
