How it works
Step 1
Upload the subtitle file
Start with the subtitle file you already have — or drop in the video itself and let the dialogue be picked up from the audio.
Step 2
Pick the target language
Langelic reads the surrounding scene, not one cue at a time, so names, tone, and running jokes stay consistent.
Step 3
Export and watch
Download clean subtitles for the player you already use — tonight, not whenever an official release shows up.
Why Langelic
Reads like dialogue
Lines are translated to be watched, not studied — natural phrasing instead of literal word-by-word output.
Ready at reading speed
Translated cues are reflowed for sane reading speeds, line breaks, and screen fit.
Your files, your library
Translate the files you already have without learning a video editing suite. Your library is your business.

Common questions
Which subtitle formats can I upload? +
SRT, ASS, and SSA subtitle files. Once translated you can export to SRT, ASS, or VTT for the player you already use.
What if I don't have a subtitle file at all? +
Drop in the video. Only the audio is read — the video never leaves your device — and the dialogue is transcribed before translation. Transcription is billed by the minute of audio and shown as an estimate before it runs; top-ups are pay-as-you-go.
Will the original timing be preserved? +
Yes. Translated cues keep the original start/end timestamps, and Langelic reflows the text so the lines stay readable on screen.
Do I need to install anything? +
No. Everything runs in your browser. You upload a subtitle file, pick a target language, and download the translated file.
