ASS subtitle translator
The episode is out. The subs in your language never came.
Bring the ASS or SSA file into Langelic and translate the dialogue into your language — readable, export-ready, and watchable tonight instead of someday.

How it works
Step 1
Upload ASS or SSA
Use the subtitle formats common in anime releases and styled subtitle workflows.
Step 2
Translate dialogue
Lines are translated with the surrounding scene, so character names, honorifics, and recurring terms stay consistent.
Step 3
Export for viewing
Download subtitles for your normal watch setup without turning the evening into a video editing project.
Why Langelic
Built for anime pain
The show airs, the subs in your language don't. ASS is the format that pain comes in, and translating it yourself shouldn't take a toolkit.
Less manual cleanup
Output is reflowed for reading speed and screen fit, so what you download is ready to watch, not ready to edit.
Works beyond anime
ASS and SSA also show up in films, fan projects, and archival subtitle collections.

Common questions
Do you support both ASS and SSA? +
Yes. Both Advanced SubStation Alpha (ASS) and the older SubStation Alpha (SSA) subtitle files can be uploaded for translation.
Why use ASS instead of SRT for anime? +
ASS preserves richer styling, positioning, and timing detail than SRT. Most modern fansubs ship as ASS so the dialogue, signs, and karaoke can be styled separately.
Can I get the translated subs back as ASS? +
Yes. You can export the translated track as ASS to keep working in the same format, or as SRT or VTT if your player prefers a simpler container.
